Wei Bijun, Ph.D. in accordion from Frideric Chopin University of Music in Poland, lecturer at the Music Collage of Southwest University, master study at the Anton Bruckner University of Music in Austria, China representative of the CMA, deputy secretary-general of the International Keyboard Accordion Association, and world champion of the accordion competition.
Wei studied at Tianjin Conservatory of Music and studied under Prof.Luo Han. In 2012, she graduated from Tianjin Conservatory of Music. In 2013, she was exceptionally admitted by the National Conservatory of Saint Etienne in France and continued to study the accordion, under the guidance of the famous accordion performer Phillppe Bourlois, and at the same time under the guidance of the world-famous accordion performer and educator Max Bonnay. In October 2014, she went to Austria and studied at Anton Bruckner University of Music and Dance Arts with Prof.Alfred Melichar for master studies. In July 2017, She obtained excellent results in professional performance and graduation thesis.
In 2019, she was admitted to the Frideric Chopin University of Music in Poland and continued to study for a doctor's degree with prof.Klaudiusz Baran, and graduated with excellent grades in November 2021, becoming the first doctor graduated from the Frideric Chopin University of Music from China.
She has participated in many domestic and international competitions and achieved excellent results. She has participated in many international famous music festivals, performed many chamber music and ensemble works, and cooperated with many excellent performers. She has participated in international master classes for many times and has played the concerts all over the world. She has been invited to serve as the judge of many international competitions in Italy, Lithuania, the United Kingdom, Canada, Poland, Portugal and so on. As a teacher, her students got many prizes in many national and international competitions.
